Dan In Focus

Welcome back to the thoughts of Focus. I have to admit, I lost focus for several months now. I have had just a few wild things happen, including changing jobs, trying to sell a house and move my family, getting a son into college and a few other things I won’t share here. I have had to focus just to keep my sanity. Unfortunately, one of things I did not focus on was this blog.

For the past few months, I have been struggling with the urge to write, but a frustration of having too many baskets for my eggs. I finally sat down this weekend and spent some quality time with Google, researching how to make one blog do everything I wanted to do. This new site is the result and I am quite excited. Finally, my blog, my pens and my books are all in one place. Yes, I have had to come up with a few tricks and slight-of-hand maneuvers to make it work. So far, though, I am pleased. It will mature more over the coming months. Take a look around. I hope you enjoy it. Leave me some feedback. I would love to hear it.

Meanwhile, one thing I have learned while writing for Mind Like Monkey is the value of a calendar. I will make one for this site so I know what to write about. Having that in front of me, decided in advance has helped me settle in to regular writing. That is what I need here.
