Blue Boxelder Burl Jr. Gentleman Rollerball

28 Apr

GRLT Blue BEBPlatinum Jr. Gentleman Rollerball – DS315

Wood: Blue dyed Boxelder Burl
Finish: platinum

Boxelder Burl is lovely. When dyed, it makes for some very surprising results. This pen has small pockets that didn’t take the dye, leaving creamy islands in a sea of blue. The German ceramic rollerball flows easily across the page, making this pen a favorite for journaling.

$75.00 Sold (but I can make one just for you.)

Spalted Maple Jr. Gentleman Rollerball

GRLP Spalted MaplePlatinum Jr. Gentleman Rollerball – DS336

Wood: Spalted Maple
Finish: platinum

Maple is a surprising wood, especially when Mother Nature gets her way. After this tree was cut, fungus set in to start the decaying process, turning the normally light wood dark. The ceramic-tipped German rollerball is a pleasure to write with, flowing across the page easily. This pen is an eye catcher!

GRLC RattlesnakeCopper Baron Rollerball – DS291

Wood: Western Prairie Rattlesnake
Finish: Copper

Yes, it is a real rattlesnake skin in this pen. This rattlesnake met its end on the highways of Wyoming. After tanning the skin, it was encased in resin to make into this pen. Each scale is clearly visible. This is one pen that will draw attention!

Inspired by my alma mater, Idaho State Bengals, the Orange and Black are back! The figure of boxelder burl is entrancing. The figure is never tiring to look at. The rollerball has a ceramic tip that flows like no other pen. It is a joy to write with. Grab this tiger by the tail!

Spalted Oak Jr. Gentleman Rollerball

27 Apr

GRLB Oak BurlBlack Titanium Jr. Gentleman Rollerball – DS310

Wood: Spalted Oak
Finish: Black Titanium

When a log starts to rot, fungus can get into the wood and cause “spalting”. The black lines running through the wood is the result of that fungus. The stabilization process kills the fungus and firms up the wood, leaving the beauty behind. This piece of oak really is a looker. The rollerball is from Germany and uses a ceramic ball. The non-dry ink flows so smoothly, it feels and looks like a fountain pen without the mess. Rollerballs are perfect for left-handed writers as the ink dries instantly. No smears! The black titanium finish wears forever and adds a tang of mystery to this beautiful pen.

$75.00 Sold (but I can make one just for you.)
